CHILDREN from Sytchampton Endowed First School have been helping launch the school’s new website.
They showed their parents the new site in the school’s ICT Suite.
Visitors to sytchamptonfirst.worcs.sch.uk can take a tour of the school, which is located on the main Kidderminster to Worcester road. It is a chance to see the excellent facilities the school has to offer such as the environmental area, the friendship castle and adventure playground and story circle.
The site also features information about the extra curriculum activities children can take part in as well as details of the before and after school care.
Acting headteacher, Mrs Gill Deakin, said: “We are delighted with the new website. It really highlights the fantastic facilities but I think it also captures our family spirit and the welcoming, purposeful and successful school we have. We are an outstanding school and this is an excellent way we can let more people find out about us.
“The new website is for everyone. It gives current parents more information about what their children have been doing all day. It also gives parents looking for the right school for their child a great insight into what we offer, but we would encourage them to come and meet us too.”
Aidan Cartwright, aged 6, said: “I really like it. The pictures of the teachers are fun as they’re not just photographs but pictures the children have drawn of them too.”
