Police believe a shooting at a car wash in which two men were injured is connected to a business dispute.
Officers were called to an industrial estate, containing several vehicle-related businesses, in Railway Street, Gillingham, Kent, at about 12.30pm on Friday following a report that two men had been hurt.
Kent Police said one of the men suffered a serious but non life-threatening injury to his leg and both men were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A force spokesman said: "Police are investigating the possibility that a firearm was used in the incident."
He added that officers were searching for two men who were reported to be in the area when the men were injured.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call Kent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
