ROBINS target Troy Batchelor claimed his first Australian Championship this morning as he secured a clean sweep with victory in Kurri Kurri.

Having won the opening two rounds, Batchelor earned 14 points in qualifying, before beating Jason Doyle, Rohan Tungate and Dakorta North in the final in New South Wales.

The win means the 25-year-old secured the maximum 60 points in the championship, with his nearest challenger North back on 48.

Batchelor's Elite League future remains up in the air, but Robins chiefs are confident he will be returning to Blunsdon.
