BIRTHDAY boy Zane Pinnock celebrated in style by netting a hat-trick as Ferndale Rodbourne ran out 3-0 winners away at Ramsbury Juniors Blue.

The victory moved the club up to second in the Under 9 Division 2 table, one point behind league leaders Hungerford Town Juniors. Ramsbury remain second bottom following the defeat.

In Division 1, FC Chippenham A beat Highworth Town Juniors H 3-0 to remain fourth in the table, while FC Chippenham B beat Marlborough Youth Merlins 4-1 in Division 3.

Croft JFC Red extended their unbeaten run in Under 10 Division 1 to 10 games and moved to within two points of leaders Greenmeadow following a 4-0 victory over Robins. Spencer Bunce gave Croft a 1-0 half-time lead, and with a strong win at their backs they soon took control of the game in the second half. Kieran Sutton finished a nice team move to make it 2-0, before firing one in from 20 yards to double his own personal tally and extend his side’s lead further. Tyger J-Hall finished the scoring for Croft on an impressive afternoon.

Lydiard Youth Blue hauled themselves further away from trouble at the bottom of Under 10 Division 2 with a 2-1 victory over Lambourn Sports, and FC Chippenham B closed the gap on leaders Swindon Rangers with a 5-1 home win over Ramsbury Juniors.

Wootton Bassett Town B kept themselves in the hunt at the top of Under 10 Division 3 with a 3-2 away win at Croft Juniors Blue, while Pewsey Vale’s clash with Fairford went to form with the home side running out 2-0 winners.

Brinkworth Cats beat Ramsbury Juniors 5-2 in Under 12 Division 2, and North Bristol FDC beat Kings Stanley 1-0 in a tight Under 13 Division 1 clash.

In Under 15 Division 1, Purton Youth are now only five points behind leaders Shaw after hammering Swindon Rangers Black 7-2, while Fairford Town Youth are four points further back after a 5-1 win over Highworth Town Juniors T.

Lambourn Sports also recorded a 7-2 victory as they easily disposed of Ashton Keynes in Under 16 Division 2, but the biggest winners of the weekend were Trowbridge Town who beat FC Chippenham 13-3 in the Under 13 Wilts County Cup. Stanley Park Youth also progressed with a 2-0 win over Old Town United, while Chippenham Town beat FC Calne 8-0 in the Under 17/18 competition.
