DAVID Howell has made his 11th cut in a row at the Dubai Desert Classic after an improved second round at the Emirates Golf Club.
The two-time Ryder Cup winner, a former champion at the Classic in 1999, birdied three of the first six holes on his way to carding a four-under-par round of 68 today.
That was two shots better than his opening round and he has made the cut by three shots on his ‘home’ course.
A birdie three at two and a second gain at the third got the Broome Manor pro off to a storming start.
He followed that with another birdie three at the sixth and following 11 pars in a row, signed off with a birdie on the par-five 18th.
