10:11pm
That's it. MK hold on for the win.
10:10pm
Brittle misses an empty net.
10:09pm
Time out called by Swindon. Some 31 seconds left.
10:08pm
Penalty killed. Less than a minute left.
10:06pm
Swindlehurst off for slashing. Swindon did not need that.
10:06pm
Three minutes.
10:00pm
Six minutes left.
9:52pm
There are 12 minutes left, by the way. Wall is back on his feet.
9:51pm
Wall is down after taking a whack.
9:47pm
GOAL! Swindon 1 Milton Keynes 2, 45.24
Cats fight for the puck out wide. Ryan Aldridge sends it inside to Sandvik and the Finn finally gets his team off the mark. We have a game at last.
9:41pm
GOAL! Swindon 0 Milton Keynes 2, 40.13
Skinns is on the floor and Jamieson has a few stabs at the puck, eventually forcing it over the line. A very soft goal. Assists for Blaz Emersic and Adam Brittle.
9:39pm
Period three is underway and MK have killed their penalty.
9:37pm
The players are back out.
9:34pm
Shots on goal in period two were 10 by Swindon and 13 by Milton Keynes. That's 19 in total for Cats and 24 for MK.
9:32pm
Five minutes away from the start of the third period.
9:19pm
Green has eight seconds of his penalty left to serve when period three begins.
9:19pm
That's the end of the second period.
9:17pm
Ross Green gets two minutes for tripping.
9:14pm
Cats back to full strength.
9:14pm
We're off again.
9:13pm
A bit of a delay here, while a small patch of ice in the middle of the rink is repaired. Sandvik's blood on it I believe.
9:09pm
Penalty killed.
9:07pm
Aaron Nell strikes wide. Great chance.
9:06pm
Sam Bullas serves two minutes for too many men.
9:06pm
The Swindon powerplay has not been fantastic tonight. You can tell they are missing plenty of players.
9:05pm
Penalty killed.
9:03pm
Two minutes for Chinn for hooking.
9:01pm
Swindon just starting to crank up the pressure now, but still no end product.
8:59pm
We have passed the halfway point at the Link Centre.
8:54pm
Penalty killed.
8:53pm
Swindlehurst is indeed fine.
8:50pm
Looked like high sticks there with makeshift forward Swindlehurst going down in a heap. Fairly sure he'll be back.
8:50pm
Shane Moore has been handed two minutes for hooking.
8:48pm
Think Skinns just took a puck in the face from Tvrdek. He's OK but in the wars tonight!
8:42pm
Penalty killed by Cats.
8:41pm
The second period has begun.
8:39pm
And here they are.
8:39pm
The players will be back out in a matter of moments. Don't forget Joe Baird still has 50 seconds to serve for interference.

8:33pm
Shots on goal for period one were 11 by MK and nine by Swindon. If I'm honest, I thought the gap was bigger than that.
8:24pm
That's the end of the first period. Not a classic.
8:23pm
Five on four.
8:23pm
Joe Baird off for interference. It's a five on three.
8:20pm
Two minutes for Jan Melichar for slashing.
8:20pm
It has not been a great game and Swindon have not been very good. Quite fortunate to only be a goal behind.
8:15pm
Skinns collides with Leigh Jamieson. He looks OK.
8:12pm
Paul Swindlehurst is playing as a forward tonight. Can only assume this is due to Swindon's current injury problems.
8:09pm
GOAL! Swindon 0 Milton Keynes 1, 9.04
Well, it's been coming. The not-so-retired Nick Poole scores from Kamil Tvrdek and Janne Jokila. MK are good value for their lead.
8:06pm
Sandvik sends a wristshot off the post!
8:05pm
Cats have been distinctly off the pace so far.
8:04pm
Penalty killed.
8:03pm
Henri Sandvik tries to break the deadlock and ends up in a heap in front of the net.
8:02pm
Nicky Chinn serving two minutes for MK.
7:59pm
MK have had all the early pressure. Swindon have just had their first attempt, which saw Aaron Nell nearly hit the ceiling!
7:57pm
Dean Skinns and Stephen Wall in goal tonight, by the way.
7:54pm
The game is underway.
7:52pm
Anthem done.
7:51pm
Players being introduced.
7:50pm
MK are out. And here come the Wildcats!
7:46pm
Not icing for MK are Chris Wiggins, Ross Bowers and Lukas Zatopek.
7:45pm
Lights off.
7:41pm
Several minutes away from the players coming back out.
7:39pm
Referees tonight are Stephen Matthews and Timothy Pickett. Linesmen are Stephen Thrower and Joshua Dolphin.
7:37pm
Out comes the Zamboni.
7:35pm
The players have been asked to clear the ice, which they are doing, albeit slowly.
7:30pm
For what it's worth, Swindon will move onto 50 points for the season if they win tonight. That would leave them two points off the top half of the table.
7:27pm
There's a few supporters drifting in. A shame for Swindon really. They would have had more in the original Sunday night fixture last month.
7:25pm
Feel free to get your opinions across using the comments section below or on Twitter using #swindonwildcats. If you don't, nobody will hear you!
7:22pm
It's evening is the start of an extremely tough schedule for Swindon. Cats take on Telford at home on Saturday and Manchester away on Sunday. That's three games in four days. Not easy to say the least.
7:14pm
Not icing for Swindon this evening are Tomas Fojtik, Floyd Taylor, Loris Taylor, Lee Richardson and Jamie Hayes. Head coach Ryan Aldridge told me earlier today that he hoped that Joe Baird would be fit again, and he has just entered the rink, so it appears he is OK. Jan Melichar returns to action following an arm injury.
7:11pm
MK were out on the ice first and Swindon have just joined them.
7:10pm
A very strange atmosphere at the Link this evening, entirely down to the fact that there are almost no supporters here yet. Hopefully one or two will trickle in during the next half an hour.
7:09pm
Hello and welcome to the Link Centre where Swindon tonight face Milton Keynes in a match postponed from last month.
