WILDCATS secured their place in the EPL play-offs last night despite not taking to the ice.
Sheffield's 7-5 defeat at home to Milton Keynes means the Steeldogs cannot catch Swindon and therefore force them out of the play-off spots.
Ryan Aldridge's troops are currently sixth in the standings and face Milton Keynes away and Basingstoke at home this weekend.
