CHIPPENHAM TOWN: Bluebirds swoop for Allward
11:00am Saturday 16th March 2013 in Sport By Dan Barnes
CHIPPENHAM Town have reinforced their defensive options with the signing of Jack Allward from Paulton Rovers.
The 25-year-old left-back, who has made 26 appearances for Paulton so far this season and also had spells at Mangotsfield United and Halesowen Town, comes to Hardenhuish Park to fill the void left by the departure of veteran Jim Rollo, who re-joined Bath City this week.
Allward, who began his career at Bristol City, goes straight into the Bluebirds squad to take on league leaders Leamington at Hardenhuish Park today.
