It's a match that Chippenham will feel was there for the taking but they just couldn't reach their best.
There's little time for the Bluebirds to dwell though, as they make the trip to the West Midlands next Tuesday night to take on Stourbridge
It's disappointment for the Bluebirds as they go down 2-1 at home. That cutting edge that was so ruthlessly displayed on Monday just wasn't there this afternoon as the visitors snatched all three points

The corner is cleared and Purnell evetually wins another free-kick, which is punched away by the Totton keeper
Guthrie's delivery is cleared for a corner
Last chance saloon. Chippenham win a free-kick to the right of the Totton area
Chippenham have huffed and puffed, but don't look like creating a chance to grab the equaliser at present. Totton win a late corner and look certain to try and hold on to the ball
Guthrie goes down off the ball but that looks like a bit of cramp for the Chippenham man. The Bluebirds win a corner with less than 5 minutes to go
Tumelty gets a good cross in but the angle isn't kind for Griffin to get a header on target
SUBSTITUTION: It's a striker on for a defender as Isaac Reid comes on for Jack Allward
Guthrie drives into the area but his cross is clawed out of the air by keeper McCormack. Around 15 minutes left tfor the Bluebirds to find a way back into this game
SUBSTITUTION: Joe McClennan comes off to be replaced by Joe Tumelty. McClennan sprinted staight for the bench as soon as play was stopped for the change
Totton almost grab number three! A mis-placed header from Greg Tindle puts Luke Roberts in on goal but keeper John launches himself into the air and sticks out a hand to deny the Stags striker

The Totton man was hardly scythed down by Harris but the referee's decision was probably the correct one. Chippenham fall behind for the second time this afternoon
Suckerpunch from the visitors! Mouland gets into the box and is body-checked by Harris, who makes no contact with the ball. Referee Timothy Wood points straight to the spot and Alex Moth confidently dispatches the penalty into the top left-hand corner

SUBSTITUTION: Tom Knighton comes on for Phillips. Enough time for another hat-trick from the bench for the Chippenham striker?
Phillips gets a great head on a McClennan corner, flicking right into the danger area, but the ball flies straight through the crowd of players
Another chance goes begging. Lee Phillips flicks on to Guthrie, who has a chance to shoot but goes for power and strikes over the bar
Big chance for Chippenham. A floated ball into the box is knocked back across by Guthrie, straight to the feet of McClennan, but the winger's strike is deflected over the bar by a Totton defender
Griffin gets a header goalwards as he connects with a McClennan cross but Totton substitute Jacob Joseph deals with the danger
The visitors have started the second period brightly whilst the Bluebirds have yet to really get back into their stride
Totton's Mouland jinks his way past Jack Allward and passes to Taylor but his effort is well wide
However, Hibberd makes a miraculous recovery and returns to the heart of the pitch
The midfielder limps off the pitch and doesn't look like he'll be able to continue
The visitors have another man down. Liam Hibberd gives away a foul but is hurt in the process
Totton go close in the first minute! Taylor Edwards' ball is helped on by Luke Roberts and Zac Mouland's effort is deflected over the bar

I'm told that Joe Noakes' injury was a long-standing knee injury exacerbated as he jarred his leg when the ball got caught under his foot
The teams are back out for the second half at Hardenhuish Park

Totton's goal came against the run of play after a period of early Chippenham pressure. The Bluebirds responded well to going a goal behind and will feel they have every chance of taking all three points this afternoon
Totton defender Joe Noakes headed the visitors from a corner with ten minutes on the clock but when Harley Purnell was upended in the area 13 minutes later, Alan Griffin sent the keeper the wrong way to level matters.
Stags goalscorer Noakes put in a great tackle to deny Iain Harvey late on but the ball got caught under his leg and the defender was in immediate distress. Noakes had to be stretchered off and that could be a serious knee or ankle injury

The Chippenham players make their way back into the tunnel, with a host stopping to sign the cast of a young Bluebirds fan who's broken his wrist. Around ten minutes til kick off
This afternoon's visitors lost their first three games of the season but got back to winning ways on Bank Holiday Monday, beating local rivals Bashley 3-1.
Around 15 minutes til kick-off here at Hardenhuish Park. Can caretaker boss Steve Winter continue to make his case for the permanent manager's position with another victory.
The Bluebirds have a good record against Totton since the Hampshire came back into the top tier of the Southern League.
Chippenham won 3-0 at Hardenhuish Park last season whilst thumping the Stags 5-0 away.
The campaign before that, the Bluebirds won 2-1 at home and drew 1-1 at the Testwood Stadium.
