EUROPEAN MASTERS: Howell set for long weekend in Switzerland
SWINDON’S David Howell has comfortably made the cut at the European Masters in Switzerland.
The four-time European Tour winner shot a second round of four-under-par at Crans-sur-Sierre this afternoon and is tied-18th on five-under overall.
Teeing off on the back nine, Howell bogeyed the 11th but then picked up birdies at three of the next four holes, as well as at the 18th.
After a chequered start to the front nine, the Broome Manor pro made a final gain with a birdie two at the eighth.
