Robins freeze admission prices for Poole visit
SWINDON Robins have frozen admission prices for their play-off clash with great rivals Poole at the Abbey on Monday (7.30).
The club have moved quickly to stop speculation about increased prices for the visit of double world champion Greg Hancock and hot property Darcy Ward.
Excalibur Communications Robins boss Alun Rossiter has paid tribute to the club’s supporters for getting behind the team this season.
He said: “In many ways I am a Swindon supporter myself and I understand the passion people have for the club.
“Our supporters have been fantastic again this season and I have no doubt the place will be packed on Monday.
“I think it would be unwise on our part to increase prices for a semi-final – it’s different in the final, of course.
“The admission is the same as usual for Monday, so is the programme and I’m sure the people of Swindon and surrounding areas are keen to come down and get right behind the team.
“Poole will be tough, but we have to have enough faith in our boys to get a useful lead to take down to their place next week.”
Admission will be £17 for adults, £13 for concessions, £5 for children aged 11-16 with under 11s free.
