No stopping Stopps at Ogbourne

MIKE Stopps and David Sheeran stole the show in their respective handicap divisions in the Ogbourne Downs club stableford.
Stopps, who plays off a handicap of eight, topped Division One with a minus-five handicap score of 41 points.
His completed card showed a gross score of 74, just three over par. Meanwhile Sheeran continued his good form with a six-under-par score of 43 points to win Division Two.
Over 70 players took part but only Mark McGinley, Pete Notton, Dave Myler and Brian Banyard carded twos in their rounds and each collected £34.50.
