A TRIO of Wiltshire tennis starlets have been incluided on the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) Aegon FutureStars programme.
Ten-year-olds Amelia Bissett, of Poulshot, and Stanley Brown, of Christian Malford, and 11-year- old Harriet Eyles, of Ramsbury, have been included on the programme, which recognises and supports some of the best juniors in the country.
The duo earned their places following a successful year on court and will now receive added support from the LTA throughout 2014 – one of 424 such young players, who will receive various levels of funding and support.
Leon Smith, LTA Head of Men’s Tennis, said: “We are committed to supporting and identifying our most talented players, and the Aegon FutureStars programme is central to this process for young players who are starting out in the game.”
