WARMINSTER Town upset the odds as they held title-chasing local rivals Bradford Town to a 2-2 draw at Trowbridge Road last weekend.

Lloyd Matthews and debutant Ian Robinson were both on target for Derek Graham and Andy Crabtree’s visitors whilst Sam Jordan and former Warminster man Beau Blakeman found the net for Paul Shanley’s Bradford.

Elsewhere in the Toolstation League First Division, Booker Woodford hit a hat-trick as Corsham Town got back to winning ways at Keynsham Town last weekend.

Striker Woodford took his tally for the season to seven goals in eleven appearances as he found the net three times, with Ryan Tyrell also on target as Trevor Rawlings men ran out 4-2 winners in Somerset.

But there was disappointment for Westbury United as they were beaten 2-0 at Meadow Lane by Almondsbury United, bringing their four-match unbeaten run to an end.

In the Premier Division, Melksham Town slipped to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Winterbourne United.

Dan Kovacs was on target for Darren Perrin’s side but the hosts’ Ben Dowdell stole the show as he fired home a hat-trick.
