FORMER Wootton Bassett youngster Jonny May played his part as England beat Ireland 13-10 at Twickenham this afternoon.
May again started on the wing for Stuart Lancaster's side as he made his debyt at the home of English rugby but missed an early chance to score his first try when he failed to touch the ball down to end an early attacking move.
Rob Kearney gave the visitors the lead when he danced over the England line to cancel out Owen Farrell's penalty, but when Danny Care charged over the whitewash and Farrell kicked another three points the victory was secured.
England now face Wales at HQ next weekend.
