HARRY Routledge and Danny Curran scored the goals that gave North Berks League Second Division outfit Drayton a surprise 2-1 victory at Division One side Faringdon Town in their North Berks Cup quarter-final tie.
Drayton will face Division One league leaders Dorchester in their semi-final after a late Billy Warner strike gave them a narrow 1-0 victory at Championship rivals Ardington & Lockinge. A Luke Vincent brace and one from Alan Kilday saw Benson Lions win their North Berks War Memorial Cup quarter-final 3-2 at fellow Third Division side Hungerford Town Swifts, for whom Keenan Dundas and Aidan Maycock scored.
Jason Evans hit a hat-trick for Faringdon Town reserves as they cruised to a 7-2 victory over Division Four strugglers Ardington & Lockinge Reserves in their North Berks AG Kingham Cup quarter-final. Dan Oyston netted twice with Damian Francis and James Tyler also scoring for the victors, while Jason O’Hanlon and Ollie Bailey netted in vain for Ardington
