SUNDAY LEAGUE: Gas edge nearer to league and cup double

“The season is going well, but we cannot get too carried away - there is still a long way to go.”

Ryan Thomas fired the hosts into the lead when he slotted home James Blake’s pass before Ash Taylor sealed Gas’s passage into the last four when he latched onto a long clearance to bury the ball home.
“It was a good all round performance,” the manager said. “Our goalkeeper Wes Clarke had to make several good saves and the back four were solid too.”
