CHIPPENHAM Park got back to winning ways last weekend, thanks to two goals from top-scorer Mark Robinson.

The Park striker found the net twice to see off Chard Town at Hardenhuish Park, with Robinson taking his tally for the season to 25 goals as Dave Ferris’ side brought a three-match winless run to an end.

Elsewhere in the Toolstation League First Division, Devizes Town bounced back from their loss to promotion-chasers Shepton Mallet with a 2-0 victory at Wellington.

Tom Price grabbed a brace to hand Justin Webster and Darran Walters’ men their third victory in four games.

Corsham Town’s unbeaten run was stretched to eleven games after Trevor Rawlings’ side drew 1-1 with Cheddar.

Nick Holton’s header put Corsham in front but the visitors’ Sam Jones netted an equaliser to ensure that the spoils were shared.

In the Premier Division, Melksham Town saw their six-match unbeaten run brought to an end as they were beaten at home by Bridport.

Gary Higdon was on target for the hosts but they slipped to a 2-1 defeat.

In the Hellenic League Division One West, Malmesbury Victoria slipped to their 12th defeat of the season as they were edged out 1-0 at home by Lydney Town.
