MALMESBURY Victoria got back to winning ways last night with an emphatic derby victory over local rivals Purton.
Gareth Davies' Vics, who had picked up just one point in their last four outings, notched up only their sixth win in all competitions as they ran out 4-0 winners.
Meanwhile, Sydenhams League Division One Pewsey Vale slipped to a narrow home defeat at the hands of United Services Portsmouth.
Vale, who drew 2-2 with Hythe & Dibden last weekend, have now gone nine games without a win after they lost 1-0 at Ball Road.
