CHIPPENHAM Town won away from home in the league for only the fourth time this season, despite finishing with nine men in Cornwall this afternoon.

Mark Collier's men had striker Lee Phillips and Bryan Smith sent off in the second half, but still hung on to claim a vital three points.

The visitors fell behind on 26 minutes as City skipper Paul Kendall volleyed home after Shane White's pass.

But the Bluebirds were level two minutes later as Phillips found the net from a cross.

Chippenham took the lead for the first time five minutes into the second half as Corey King broke through and fired past goalkeeper Grant Fisher.

Six minutes later it was 3-1 as Griffin outjumped Fisher to head home.

Phillips was then red-carded after an off-the-ball incident but Truro were unable to make any impact, even when Smith was ordered off in injury time after the referee consulted with his assistant.
