Swindon's Dartnall goes for Arc glory again

SWINDON trainer Matt Dartnall will look to upset Irish favourite All About Ya in tonight’s Pin Point Recruitment Arc final.

Dartnall, a previous winner of the Arc in 2012, has the fast-starting Zero Two in the £8,000 showpiece event.

Zero Two flew into tonight’s final thanks to a superb semi-final win and races out of the wider trap five.

All About Ya is the 7-4 favourite and the William Rigney-owned runner has been drawn side by side to former kennelmate Sidaz Harris.

Like All About Ya, Sidaz Harris also won his semi-final and is sure to give Peter Cronin’s charge a run for his money.

Liz McNair sends out King Dec looking to repeat the kennel’s success with track record-breaking Shaneboy Alley 12 months ago.

The field is completed by the Seamus Cahill-trained Islas Scolari, who is part-owned by Hove bookmaker Charlie Miller.

Mark Wallis’ Benkaat Hero has been withdrawn from the final, leaving trap four vacant.

The Arc Final gets under way at Swindon’s Abbey Stadium at 9.22am while the supporting card begins at 6.28pm.
