FROME Town boss Adrian Foster wants one more big push from his side that would see them end the season with a flourish.

Monday’s draw at Bideford was earned as second-half goals from Jon Vance and Jack Vallis saw them fight back from 2-0 down at the break.

That came after Friday’s 4-1 home win over Burnham when goals from Vallis, Jack Thomson, Matt Smith, along with a penalty from Kris Miller secured the points.

Frome host play-off chasing St Albans City on Saturday before they take on Taunton Town in the final of the Somerset Premier Cup at Paulton Rovers’ Athletic Field ground on Tuesday.

Foster said: “We’ll be going all out to get three points which could secure us a mid-table finish, depending on other results.

"If we can do that and win the cup next week, it will have been a good season.”

On earning four points from six over Easter, Foster said: “A draw against Bideford was a fair result in what was a game of two halves.

“Against Burnham I thought we dominated the game having gone behind early on – particularly in the second half – and could have gone on and scored a few more.”
