THE new-look Ridgeway Summer Darts League got under way this week with eight teams from Devizes and surrounding villages competing for this year’s title.
Gary Hiscock, from Potterne Social Club fired in two 15-dart legs and the week’s highest finish of 82, closely followed in the same fixture by Mark Hiscock, of the Literary Club, with an 80, showing the form that has secured him a place in the county B team.
Maximum 180s were scored by Jimmy George and Glenn Grey, from the Dolphin.
The George and Dragon, Erlestoke, recorded this week’s biggest win, 21-2 against the Lamb.
Week one results: George and Dragon 21 The Lamb 2, Lit Club 8 Potterne Social 15, Black Horse 11 Hare and Hounds 12, Dolphin 13 Drummer Boy 10.
