BOWOOD golfer Jordan Smith helped contribute three and a half points as England beat France 13-11 at Fontainebleu over the weekend.
Smith teamed up with Ashley Chesters in the Saturday foursomes to crush Antoine Kuoch and Augustin Hole 5&4 before beating Thomas Le Berre one up in the Saturday afternoon singles.
He carried his fine form into Sunday, with a one up victory alongside Chesters in the foursomes - this time against Paul Ellissalde and Ugo Coussaud - before halving his last singles game of the weekend against Romain Langasque.
