A bogey at the last saw Wrag Barn professional Martin Sell slip back to level par at the Collingtree Park Golf Club yesterday in the latest round of the Jamega Tour.
The Order of Merit leader made a flying start to his round with birdies at the first, fourth and fifth holes.
Bogeys at six and eight saw him finish one under par for his opening nine holes.
Another bogey at the 10th saw Sell slip back to level par before he got back on track with a birdie at the 14th.
Sell finished level par after his dropped shot at the 18th, leaving him tied seventh going into today’s second round.
Leading the way at Collingtree is Tom Whitehouse on four under par.
Fellow Wrag Barn golfer Ben Loughrey is back in EuroPro Tour action tomorrow when he competes in the the Dawson and Sanderson Travel Classic at Longhirst Hall Golf Club.
