GOLFER Thomas Edwards, last year named as a Star of Tomorrow, helped to raise money for other talented youngsters yesterday.

The 17 year old was part of the Bag4Sport Foundation team in its charity day at North Wilts Golf Club.

Money raised will help to pay for grants for four talented youngsters from the Wiltshire Times circulation area.

Joining him on the golf course to raise money for Bag4Sport Foundation was Andrew Douglas a partner in the solicitors Awdry, Bailey and Douglas.

The firm were sponsoring the nearest the pin prize on hole 13 and entering a team which will included Simon Ewings from the Trowbridge office of accountants Monahans. Bag4Sport Foundation has joined forces with the Wiltshire Times to find Sports Stars of Tomorrow in west Wiltshire.

We need your help to identify youngsters who need a financial boost to make the most of their sporting talent.

Two winners from west Wiltshire towns will receive £500 each and two runners up will receive £100.

The winners are likely to be youngsters who have already stated to make their mark on their chosen sport but could do with a financial boost to help with coaching, kit or travelling costs to competitions.

You can nominate your own child, a pupil you teach or a youngster you coach but we will need to know why they need help and their achievements to date.

Any youngster up to the age of 16 can be nominated but they must not already be receiving a grant from the Lottery or their sporting body.

Bag4Sport Foundation raises money to help grass root sport and talented individuals reach their potential.
