SWINDON captain Liam Tucker has been impressed with how his bowling attack have begun the campaign as they adapt to life in the Glos/Wilts Division.

The County Ground side won the Wiltshire Division last term and currently lie in third place in their new table.

And as they prepare to make the journey to Warminster tomorrow, Tucker has been pleased with his four-man attack of Matt Kidd, Mike Wilson, Santhosh Iyengar and Adam Tucker.

“As an attack they have done well,” Liam Tucker said. “Mike and Matt have impressed me with how they have taken the new ball.

“Santhosh has been doing well at first change and so has Adam.”

And the Swindon captain will need his attack to be on their game at the side who finished bottom of Premier Two last season.

Warminster won their first game of the campaign a fortnight ago with a solid team performance with runs coming from down the order and the wickets being shared around.

“We know that they are going to be a decent side,” Tucker said. “They came down last season and we know that there aren’t any easy games in this division.

“They had a good win a couple of weeks ago but we know we have focus on ourselves and performing to our highest ability.”

Since their opening day defeat to Biddestone, Swindon won their next two games, beating Tewkesbury and Chipping Sodbury.

And Tucker has been pleased with how the County Ground men have taken to life in their new division.

“Obviously it wasn’t a great start,” the Swindon skipper said. “But since then we have been doing reasonably well.

“Of course last week was very frustrating, the guys are all keen to be playing some cricket - hopefully.”

Swindon will make two changes to the side that were set to line-up last weekend when their game with Chippenham was washed out.

Danny Baker and Dean Williamson step up from the second XI with wicketkeeper Andy Staff unavailable as is Adam Trewick.
