WILTSHIRE'S first innings was left precariously poised at 118-5 after a wicket-laden opening day of their Unicorns Championship Western Division match against Berkshire at Falkland CC today.

Corsham's Joe King took 6-56 as Berkshire were dismissed for 282, but three wickets from the home side's Tom Nugent helped put the match back in the balance.

Earlier, Richard Morris had scored 104 for the home side, Stuart Davison adding 70 as King's bowling did the majority of the damage, earning four leg before decisions.

Jayden Levitt scored 36 for the visitors as Nugent took 3-55 to leave the contest evenly matched going into day two.
