DROPPED shots at the final two holes cost David Howell as the Swindon pro shot a one-under par 70 in his Scottish Open second round this afternoon.
The Broome Manor man had started the day well, with three birdies and an eagle in the opening 11 holes setting him up for a good day, before three bogeys in the final seven holes, including his final two, saw him slip back.
However, following a solid opening day, Howell still sits among the leaders, tied for sixth on four-under for the tournament.
