SWINDON Robins will use rider replacement at number one tomorrow night at Coventry due to the continued absence of Peter Kildemand.

The Dane crashed in Poland last Sunday, suffering a minor concussion which has now seen him ruled out of all speedwat for a second week, with the rider still suffering dizzy spells.

With only Poole and King’s Lynn not in action tomorrow night, boss Alun Rossiter’s guest options are extremely limited given Darcy Ward and Niels-Kristian Iversen’s averages are too high to replace Kildemand.

Having asked Maciej Janowski, Shamek Pawlicki, Vaclav Milik and Kenneth Bjerre to no aveil, and with Rory Schlein already guesting elsewhere, Rossiter has been left with no suitable option but to go with rider replacement.

Danny King, formerly of the now expunged Birmingham Brummies, is also unavailable under the seven day rule given he has already agreed to race for Lakeside at Coventry on Friday.

"It's obviously going to be very difficult without Peter, and we tried everything to get a good guest," Rossiter said.

"With only Poole and King's Lynn not riding we were very limited anyway, and I asked pretty much everyone. We can't use Darcy Ward or Niels-Kristian Iversen because their averages don't fit, and when I asked Maciej Janowski, Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Vaclav Milik and Kenneth Bjerre none of them were available.
"It's going to be a lot harder using rider replacement at No.1, but hopefully the boys can all pull together and we can come away with something.

"A point would be a great result, so we just need our remaining six riders to all up their game and hopefully we can get a good result."
