“The tactical got us as it always does but we dug deep and got all the points now."

Rosco was much happier with the referee's performance tonight.

“The referee was fantastic, I’m not sure about a re-run in heat 15 but we pulled it off so it doesn’t matter.”

Reaction with Alun Rossiter to follow.

Should have said last heat was a re-run after a bad start.

Heat 15 (re-run): North, Batchelor, Bjerre, Schlein; 69.53 – 5-1 (52-41)

North caps his excellent evening with another heat win to ensure maximum points for the Robins. Batchelor showing extremely good chemistry with his fellow Aussie to streak away from the disappointing Stars' pair.

North and Batchelor to go in the 15th, Bjerre and Schein for the Stars.

Heat 14: Masters, Morris, Worrall, Kerr; 69.93 – 3-3 (47-40)

Masters does well to hold off Morris who pushes him hard. Worrall comes in third to give Swindon the win but now just have to find out if they can get maximum points

Heat 13: Andersen, lversen, Bjerre, Batchelor; 68.43 – 3-3 (44-37)

Andersen gates to win with the Robins initially holding a 5-1 but Batchelor after hard move by Iversen on the top corner.

Heat 12: North, Rose, Lambert, Worrall; 69.24 – 3-3 (41-34)

Worrall comes in for Greaves but can't make an impression but North runs away for his third heat win of the night.

Heat 11: Gastafsson, Batchelor, Iversen, Masters; 69.95 – 5-1 (38-31)

Great gate by Batch to take the front and Gustafsson takes over. Robins' skipper held off Iversen and Swindon immediately re-extend their lead.

Heat 10: Bjerre, Schlein, Andersen, North FX; 68.14 – 8-1 (33-30)

After North's exclusion Andersen is unable to make any ground on the Stars pair bringing their side right back into the match with a tactical maximum.

North wipes out Hans Andersen and is disqualfied, re-run pending.

Bjerre goes in black and white for the Stars.

Heat nine (re-run): Worrall, Rose, Greaves, Kerr FX; 68.45 – 4-2 (32-22)

After Kerr's fall Worrall gates to win with Greaves challenging briefly but being run out by Rose.

Heat eight: Gustafsson, Lambert, Morris, Schlein; 68.34 – 4-2 (28-20)

Gustafsson makes the first corner but initially it looks like another 3-3 but Morris nips inside Schlein in lap three to give the Robins the heat advantage.

All four riders back for the re-run here in the eighth after an unsatisfactory start.

Heat seven: North, Masters, Kerr, Worrall; 66.451 – 3-3 (24-18)

North runs away after taking Master wide on the first corner. Worrall off the pact but Swindon are keeping King's Lynn at arms length.

Heat six : Bjerre, Morris, Iversen, Gustafsson; 67.11 – 2-4 (21-15)

Morris shows good good handling to hang on to a two after Bjerre made the gate and escaped. Iversen pushed the Robin but Morris restrics the Stars to a 4-2 on their first heat advantage and win of the night.

Heat five: Batchelor; Andersen; Schlein; Masters; 64.6 – 5-1 (19-11)

Batch and Andersen make the gate to take a maximum. Schlein pushed hard but good team riding from the Robins negated his challenge.

Heat four: Morris; Lambert, Kerr, Greaves; 68.18 – 3-3 (14-10)

Morris steals a win in the final turn after staying with the Stars' pair. Greaves out of it.

Heat three: Batchelor; Bjerre, Masters, Gustafsson; 67.19 – 3-3 (11-7)

Bjerre makes the gate but Batchelor hound him down and makes his move round the King's Lynn man on the penultimate lap, Gustafsson way back. Great stuff from Batchelor that draws a big cheer from the Blunsdon crowd.

Heat two: Worrall, Rose, Kerr, Greaves; 68.69 – 3-3 (8-4)

Worrall makes the gate and holds his line through the first before streaking away to take the win. After chasing for a lap the Stars pair give up and take the three. Greaves finishes way behind

Heat one: North, Andersen, Lambert, Iversen; 67.54 – 5-1 (5-1)

Andersen makes the gate but North comes under him in the first turn to take a maximum in the first heat, great start for the Robins.

Thankfully the referee tonight is not the controversial Dave Robinson, Stuart Wilson is in the box.

Belatedly the parade appears.

The parade has been due for a while but is yet to appear, as per usual.
