SEAN Lynn is keeping his feet firmly on the ground, despite Swindon’s impressive start to the South West One East season.

The in-form Greenbridge Road men currently find themselves fourth in the table after they racked up their third successive victory by beating Trowbridge last weekend.

This Saturday, the fixture list throws up the challenge of a trip to third-placed Windsor, who have lost just one of their opening eight matches, and coach Lynn says that it’s far from time for his players to begin getting carried away.

“When you’re winning games, it’s nice place to be and everybody’s having fun on a Saturday,” said the Swindon chief.

“But it’s only the end of October and I’m not getting carried away with things yet.

“We brought in a few new signings a couple of weeks ago and they’ve just added a little bit more depth to the squad.

“We want to go to Windsor and get a win. I don’t see any reason why we can’t do it, as long as we carry on doing what we have been doing recently.”

Elsewhere, struggling Supermarine go looking to break their duck and finally notch up their first win of the season in the Southern Counties South when they travel to face Wimborne.

Swindon College Old Boys, who are second in the Berks/Bucks & Oxon Premier, host Maidenhead-based Phoenix.
