SWINDON Cycle Speedway's Alice Neighbour has won her second British title in three years.
After winning the British Under 10 Girls title two years ago and coming a creditable third in the Under 13 Girls last year, Alice has won the 2015 British Under 13 Girls Championship.
Alice was listed as joint favourite alongside Ipswich’s Gemma Hill. A late entrant from Birmingham’s Bailie Phillips ensured that this year’s championship was going to be explosive.
After fighting off challenges from both Bailie and Gemma, Alice took the title on maximum points.
The British Finals weekend was run at several locations in and around Ipswich over the Bank holiday weekend.
Meanwhile, Swindon’s former world champion Steve Harris claimed third place in the Veterans Over 40’s class.
On Saturday, there is more junior racing at the Oasis Leisure Centre starting at 12 noon with Under 10s to Under 18s and Women in action.
