ADVER Sport's Tom Bassam hands out his ratings from Town's 2-1 defeat Peterborough.

Lawrence Vigouroux

An absolute brain melt gifted the Posh their second and he could have done more with the first. From the sublime of Tuesday night to the ridiculous of Saturday. 4

Louis Thompson

Brought commitment and skill to both roles he was asked to undertake, though he probably enjoyed his second half move into midfield. 7

Raphael Branco

His defensive line was too easily passed for the opener. His determination as a leader can make up for his technical flaws. 5

Adam El-Abd

Solid playing on his wrong side and did not seem overawed by the task of playing out either. An encouraging debut. 6

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill

One of his better games, especially going forward. 6

Anton Rodgers

This was slow ponderous Rodgers again. When Town were on top he looked good, when Posh put them under pressure he was absent. 5

Drissa Traore

An improved tenacious display, still yet to rediscover his purposeful passing rhythm. 6

Ben Gladwin

A Championship footballer playing below his level. Gladwin was the best player on either side and added invention and directness to Town's play. 8

Nicky Ajose

Anonymous again. 5

James Brophy

Drove forward with pace and good technique, defensively he is questionable, but going forward has talent. 7

Jermaine Hylton

Did not get into good enough positions, but his general play is improving. 6

Subs

Ellis Iandolo (on for Traore, 70)

The game drifted him by, an odd introduction. 6

Will Randall (on for Hylton 80)

Did not have much involvement. 6

Henrik Ojamaa (on for Ormonde-Ottewill, 83)

Twice failed to make the most of good positions. 5
