ROYAL Wootton Bassett know their card will be marked following their recent good form, according to coach Alan Low.

Having beaten demoted side Old Centralians last weekend, Low’s side face another team who have fallen from the National League Three South when they travel to Old Patesians tomorrow.

Low is anticipating the Gloucester side to be fully aware of Bassett’s threat but hopes his team can stick to their principles and continue their fine start to life in South West One East.

“It’s going to be a tough game against another side who have come down,” said Low.

“A Gloucester team in Gloucester is always difficult.

“I am sure they will have looked at Saturday’s result and will be expecting a game.

“We’ve got a couple of lads missing but we’ll have to get on with it and concentrate on what we’re doing.

“We’ll be expecting a big physical side down in Gloucester so the boys will have to front up, try and match what they have got and play our game when we have got the ball.”

Meanwhile, Swindon College Old Boys face a Wiltshire derby when they play host to Corsham in the Dorset and Wilts 1st XV Vase, while Supermarine have a bye into the quarter-finals.

College head coach Mark Lea said: “That’s going to be a tough game, I think they have picked up two convincing wins in the early season.

“We definitely need to step up our game to compete with Corsham, without a doubt.”
