FERNDALE Rodbourne U16s’ visit to Supermarine L proved to be a pretty even Division One encounter.
However, Supermarine took their chances well in the first half to open up a two-goal advantage.
They added a third before Ferndale’s Matty Connor pulled the ball back for Kamran Muhid to slot home from close range.
Ferndale’s man-of-the-match, Harris Yousaf, reduced the deficit further to set up a tense finish.
Ferndale pressed to salvage a point but the clock was against them and time ran out.
