HIGHWORTH’S Josh Loughrey tees off tomorrow for the chance to earn himself a place on the European Tour.
The 26-year-old, who turned professional two years ago, is taking part in the second stage of Qualifying School at the Campo de Golf El Saler in Valencia.
Loughrey joins a field of 80 players competing in one of four events taking place simultaneously across golf courses in Spain as they fight it out for a place in the final stage, to be held in Girona later this month.
The top 25 players, and ties, after six rounds on the outskirts of Girona will secure playing rights in the Race to Dubai for the 2017 season.
