ROYAL Wootton Bassett 3rd are top of the Division Five table after storming to a comfortable nine-wicket success against their Burbage & Easton Royal counterparts on a rain-affected day of action.

The Burbage innings was ended in the 30th over for 94, as Mark Lazenby took 5-29 from nine overs and Ryan Vincent 2-10.

Set a reduced 69 to win off 33 overs, Bassett completed the job in 33 overs, Mark Vincent scoring an unbeaten 41.

Division Two

POTTERNE 2nd maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 10-wicket triumph to leave Bradford on Avon still looking for their first win of the summer.

Batting first, Bradford were all out for 202 with one ball of their 45 overs remaining, Tony Burrows scoring 36 and Jake Pryor 30.

Pete Mathias took 3-20 from 6.5 overs before his side romped to a rain-reduced target in under 19 overs.

Chasing 117 off 26 overs, Jack Hurley hit an unbeaten 62 and was partnered by Jordan Rose (52 not out) to wrap up the triumph as Potterne topped the table.

Division Three

KEEVIL secured their first win of the season as they edged out winless Collingbourne by two wickets.

Put into bat, Collingbourne reached 194 all out in 43.5 overs, helped by a 50-run partnership between Andy Holman (42) and Owen Sheppard (54).

Aaron Hitchmough (2-22) took his first league wickets in the reply, with John Baxter (2-25) also stalling the Keevil charge but they got home with two balls to spare.

Division Six

MARSHFIELD 2nd made it three wins from three to move into second spot behind early leaders Erlestoke with a rain-affected nine-wicket triumph over Wilcot.

The Wilcot innings was reduced to 44 overs as they reached 181 all out in the final over.

Hugo Stagg scored 49 and Russell Spencer 48 as Charlie Chivers took 3-32 off nine overs.

Hunting a revised 116 off 28 overs, Marshfield were home by the 16th, as Glenn Perry scored an unbeaten 54 and Kevin Hendy 35 not out.

Division Nine

AN OPENING partnership of 82 between Alan Swinburne and Al Gaw helped unbeaten Devizes 3rd to 199 all out in their clash with Burbage & Easton Royal 4th.

Dominic Shearn also weighed in with 58, while Burbage’s Mark Davies took 5-20 from six overs Shearn’s 4-27 and excellent catches from Swinburne, Sam Gaw and Phil Gay allowed Devizes to end the Burbage innings on 90, chasing a rain-reduced 124 off 28 overs, despite 38 from Jon Berridge.
