DEVIZES Town Youth Football Club hosted their annual six-a-side tournament and Festival of Football at the weekend.
The 18th event saw Tmore than 60 local teams and almost 500 children involved from age groups ranging from U6s to U14s.
For the younger age groups the event was a non-competitive Festival of Football with each registered player awarded a medal by newly-appointed Devizes town mayor Nigel Carter.
In the competitive age ranges there were winning teams from Worton & Cheverell, Devizes Town Youth, FC Abbeymead Swindon and Trowbridge Town Youth, with scouts from Bristol Rovers, Reading and Premiership team Southampton casting their eye over the games.
Devizes Town Youth U8s played in their own festival on the Saturday, completed a league match on Sunday morning in Bath and then made a second appearance at the tournament on Sunday afternoon, filling in for a missing team in the U9s category.
Adrian Elsworth's side made it all the way to the U9 final before being pipped to glory by FC Abbeymeads.
