l THE over 55’s Tuesday club at Farleigh Wood lake saw Ernie Jones catch 19lbs 4ozs of skimmers and carp to edge out Jim Escott (18lbs 8ozs).

l AIRSPRUNG Angling fished the fourth round of the Sue Cunningham Shield on the River Frome at Stowford where Steve Martin came out top with 8lbs 3ozs.

l AVALON lakes was the venue for Wiltshire angling match with Vick Bush winning with 74lbs 24ozs of carp.
Pete Neate was second with 71lbs 14ozs, with Terry Niblet in third with 65lbs 9ozs.
