MARLBOROUGH'S senior team had a real pair of aces for their fixture against West Wilts Golf Club, with David Ferris and Tim Mullins hitting holes-in-one in the same match.
The duo were in action for their side in their regular match against the Warminster club when senior secretary Ferris' tee shot on the 160-yard 14th tee rolled into the cup.
Incredibly, a short while later teammate Mullins repeated the feat as their side clinched victory.
Ferris said: "I was astonished to see my ball roll into the hole. It was even more astonishing when Tim did exactly the same thing.
"I’ve been playing golf for over 40 years and this is my third hole-in-one.
"But to have two holes-in-one in the same match by the same team the odds must be in the millions.''
