Adver Sport’s Matt Davies hands out his player rating’s following Swindon Town’s 3-2 defeat to West Ham United U21s.
Will Henry - 7
Not much for the teenager could do about the goals he conceded, but good experience under his belt.
Ben Purkiss – 8
His best outing in a Town shirt since joining in the summer, was strong in the air throughout and a much-needed cool head.
Dion Conroy - 7.5
On his return from injury, the defender showed no signs of rustiness as he demonstrated his passing ability.
Olly Lancashire - 7
Quiet game for the Swindon captain, but did well to knock the ball down to Mullin for the equaliser.
Chris Hussey - 7
Again his set piece delivery was a threat for West Ham, but was a great outlet for the hosts in this one.
Donal McDermott – 6.5
Was replaced by Flitcroft just after the hour mark because of a knee injury but worked hard in the second half to make an impact.
James Dunne – 7
Worked throughout the 90 minutes, a constant competitor in the middle of the park. Booked.
Amine Linganzi - 7
Another strong performance from the man in the middle, who was unlucky again not to get on the scoresheet.
Ellis Iandolo - 6.5
A good workout for the youngster who hasn’t had that many opportunities so far this term.
Luke Norris- 8
Shrugged off a shoulder injury and slotted his penalty past the keeper with no issues.
Kaiyne Woolery - 7.5
While he didn’t get on the scoresheet, the new arrival showed plenty of promise while on the pitch.
Paul Mullin (On for Woolery 62’) – 9
Another superb performance from the striker, sparked a resurgence for Swindon with his second-half header.
Harry Smith (On for Norris 62’) – 7
Put himself about well when he did come on and added a different dimension to Town’s attack. Booked.
James Brophy (On for McDermott 66’) -7.5
His pace proved to be a real problem for the tired legs left out there and contributed to Vashon Neufville’s dismissal.
Unused substitutes.
Chris Robertson, Scott Twine, Tom Smith and Conor Thomas
