Adver Sport hand out their verdict following Swindon Town's defeat to Barnet.

Lawrence Vigouroux – 5 Breakdown in communication between him and Chris Robertson led to the first goal, other than that not much he could do.

Ben Purkiss – 5

Another fairly solid outing for the defender who took the armband at half-time.

Chris Robertson – 4

Was at fault for the first goal, did well in patches.

Olly Lancashire – 4

A bad week for the skipper who conceded the penalty after last week’s own goal. Left at half-time for the birth of his child.

Chris Hussey -5

Didn’t have his usual influence on proceedings but not the worst performance on the day.

Donal McDermott – 4

A good game ruined by his red card in the 50th minute.

Amine Linganzi – 5

Another one who wasn’t quite at it, worked hard but didn’t get on the ball as much as he would have liked.

Timi Elsnik – 6

Showed glimpses of his obvious talent, but struggled with the pace and physicality of the game at times.

Matty Taylor – 4

Handed his first start for Town and failed to produce the performance he would have liked.

Keshi Anderson – 5

Another late arrival who showed signs of what he is capable of, definitely more to come.

Luke Norris - 6.5

A standout performance from Norris who got the goal and looked very composed.

Subs

Paul Mullin (On for Taylor at HT) - 5

Lucky not to get booked but added some tenacity when he was introduced.

Kaiyne Woolery (On for Anderson 65th) – 5

A last throw of the dice from Flitcroft, but didn’t have the desired effect.

Dion Conroy (On for Lancashire at HT) – 5

Another one who will know he is capable of more, but no obvious mistakes from the former Chelsea man.

Unused subs: James Dunne, James Brophy, Kellan Gordan and Reice Charles-Cook
