SWINDON Town have appointment U18 team manager Alan McLoughlin as the club's new Academy Manager on an interim basis.
The appointment comes following the departure of Jeremy Newton from the role at the end of January following an internal investigation by the club.
A statement from the club read: “Swindon Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Alan McLoughlin as the club's new Academy Manager on an interim basis.
“McLoughlin will start his new role with immediate effect with the view to taking the job on a permanent basis.
“He will also continue in his current role as U18s manager.”
