WILTSHIRE’S U14s played Dorset and posted 236-6 from their 50 overs, Toby Kershaw scoring 75 and Sam Giddings 52.

However, Dorset reached the total for the loss of just four wickets and with an over to spare.

There was a better result for the U15s, who batted first against Cornwall and posted 267-9, led by Ed Vickery with 103.

It proved a tense defence of the target as Cornwall got close, finishing just nine runs short as they closed on 258-7, Bryce Furlong and Ed Wade taking two wickets.

The boys U11s recorded their first win of the season, beating London Schools on Thursday by 147 runs.

Flynn Gunston scored 131 not out in Wiltshire’s 245-4 and in reply, London Schools were dismissed for just 98 as Sam Ashman took 3-18.

Sunday saw the boys’ U12s in action against Hampshire, posting 238-2 with Nicolas Viljoen scoring 121 not out and Toby Mawer 48 not out. Hampshire won by four wickets, Matthew Falconer with 2-40 and Cameron Oliver 2-43.

There was T20 action for both the U13s and the women, the U13s playing twice against Oxford Saxons.

Game one was won by Wiltshire by six wickets as they chased a target of 82, Alice Robbins having earlier taken 3-22. Wiltshire’s chase was led by 25 retired from Emily Smith.

In game two Wiltshire 71-3 before Katy Cobb returned excellent figures of 4-5.

Against Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire’s women saw Rosie Pembroke score 30 in 93-8 but Bucks reached their target for the loss of three wickets as Pembroke took 2-9.

A tighter affair against Dorset saw Wiltshire post 96-6 before Lily Day took 3-12 and Pippa Brown 2-13 as Dorset reached the target for the loss of six wickets.

WILTSHIRE Seniors recorded their third win in four matches as they beat Dorset at Trowbridge CC.

They have three remaining National Championship matches - against Somerset, Devon and Cornwall to determine if Wiltshire will play in the knockout section of the competition.
