CHIPPENHAM Town failed to score for the fifth time in six games as they played out a 0-0 draw against Bromsgrove Rovers.
But The Bluebirds had much to feel aggrieved about after having two legitimate goals ruled out.
The signs were good early on as a speculative effort from Luke Gullick was cleared off the line.
Aaron Cornwall drilled an effort from the edge of the area that was well held by Bromsgrove goalkeeper Carl Lewis.
The home side's attacking threat was minimal but The Bluebirds could not make their dominance of possession tell.
Chippenham frustrations grew as half time approached when a seemingly good goal was not given.
A regulation back-pass from Duggan bobbled over Lewis' foot and the goalkeeper seemed to scrape the ball to safety after it had gone over the line.
Chris Cornes was Bromsgrove's sole threat after the interval but his two shots were rare bright spots in an uninspiring half.
Chippenham thought they had snatched the win at the last when Sam Allison stabbed home a header from Matthew McEntagert, but the linesman's flag denied him.
Bluebirds boss Adie Mings could not believe his team had had two goals ruled out.
Mings said: "The first one clearly crossed the line and even their players were laughing at it.
"The second one they said Sammy was offside and there was a lad stood on the line trying to clear the ball.
"How he could have been offside we don't know but you don't get those decisions sometimes."
