GYMNASTICS
IZAAC Turner completed a memorable hat-trick as he claimed the Swindon School of Gymnastics senior boys club champion title for the third year running.
Turner claimed his third championship ahead of Oliver Shakles and Peter Newton, who were second and third respectively, as around 160 gymnasts took part in the annual competition.
Elsewhere, Laurissa Hyner-Anderson became the new overall senior girls club champion, with Jessica David second and Beth Bermingham third.
Layla Blacker regained her junior girls club champion title, ahead of Siona McAteer and Kate Morrison.
In the junior boys section, Oliver Milea also regained his title, with Laurie Hill and Michael Davies joint second, and Brandon Neve third.
Every member was able to take part in the competition, and Swindon School of Gymnastics club coach Della Maisey said: "It was wonderful to see both boys and girls competing and who showed the full range of abilities, starting with the new five-year-olds right up to the experienced somersaulting teenagers."
