Six gymnasts from the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics in Melksham gave excellent performances at the national finals competitions for club and compulsory grades.
The gymnasts finished in the top four at the South West regional championships to qualify.
At club grade 1, the highest grade, Wiltshire gymnasts took three of four places in the team and ended with the silver medal in a strong field of 13 teams.
Amelia Yates-Hartnell, 13, competing in her third national final in a row, finished fifth.
Hannah Grubb, 13, and Katherine Turner, 14, were both competing in their first national finals and finished 12th and 20th respectively.
Eleven-year-old Rowan Hey competed at club grade 3 and gave an excellent performance to finish fifth out of 52 and help the team win the gold medal.
Hey has competed in national competition for three years and it was her highest individual placing in that time.
Two gymnasts competed in the compulsory grades finals. This is the elite development programme for young gymnasts at the top level. It requires physical and mental aptitude and develops very young children into high level performers.
At compulsory 3, Chloe Daykin, aged nine, performed beautifully to help the team finish fourth and she placed 20th out of 66 individually.
At compulsory 4, Helena Humm, aged eight, helped the South West team win the silver medal, finishing 23rd out of 51 in her first national event.
