Men's June Saturday Medal (7th) : 1st Andy Young (68), 2nd Ben Amor (68) and 3rd Mick Green (69).
Men's Mid week Medal (4th) : 1st Craig Meredith (64), 2nd Daniel Skudlarz (68) and 3rd Paul Mapson (68) County Spring Meeting at Salisbury & South Wilts (Thursday 5th June) Karen Gosling took the Best Scratch Trophy, the Best Net Silver Trophy plus the 'longest drive'. Marlborough ladies were also well represented when Gwen Stuart took the Best Net Bronze Trophy and 'nearest the pin'.
At the recent St Pierre Ladies Open Karen Gosling, Trish King, Kate Bowers and Pat Sutton were the winners.
The Ladies League played their latest match against Cumberwell away on Friday 6th June. This was always going to be a tough match but the League Captain, Pauline Ruddick, after being 5 down at the turn produced some fine golf to win her match thus ensuring a very commendable draw. The others playing were Emma Breen, Karen Gosling, Nina Davies and Isobel Henry. Marlborough are currently top of Division One.

Sunday 8th June - Ladies Trophy Day Sunday 8th June Marquis & Ailesbury and Nicholls Cups Monday 9th June Marlborough Seniors v Royal Winchester at Malborough Friday 13th June Marlborough Seniors v Tidworth at Tidworth Saturday 14th June - Marlborough Golf Clubs 5th Annual Junior Fun Day for 7 to 14 year old boys and girls, provides an opportunity to try their hands at driving, putting and various facets of golf under the watchful eye of our Club Pro, Simon Amor and a team of experienced golfers from the Club. Each child will receive their own, personally fitted club to take away, a certificate and an opportunity to sign up for further lessons if they are bitten by the golfing bug! Always oversubscribed, this looks like it will be a fabulous day and everyone has a chance to follow in the footsteps of other Marlborough Junior champions Emma Breen and Jack Hiscock both now off to attend college in the US with golfing scholarships.
Each youngster will receive a letter from our Pro, Simon with some follow up advice and recommended sessions for future golf improvement!
The Mayor of Marlborough will also be visiting the Club at 10.30 am to the see the children being introduced to the game of golf. The club has also welcomed a donation to the Club which will enable them to purchase a set of clubs, sized for youngsters to use in their future practice sessions.
