MEL Gingell is poised to swoop for two forwards as he looks to bolster the attacking options of his Corsham Town side.
Gingell has put in seven days' notice of approach for Devizes Town forward Dan Sloan and Bradford Town hot-shot Matt Minnis.
Both players played under Gingell when he was Wiltshire under 18s manager.
Gingell is keen to get new strikers in following a goal-shy start to the season, which has seen his side manage only three goals in seven games.
The Reds have struggled in the absence of popular front man Simon Gray, who is sidelined with a back injury.
Gingell expects Gray, who scored 25 goals last season, to be out until Christmas.
In the absence of Gray and summer signing Booker Woodford, who was out with a hamstring injury, Gingell was forced to play Aaron Billett and Jamie Lyons out of position up front against Melksham on Bank Holiday Monday.
